Badgers Holt
Badgers Holt is family run and provides residential care for the elderly. We are located in Hampshire on the edge of the New Forest, close to the villages of Hythe and Dibden Purlieu.
Our philosophy is to ensure that our residents have everything they need to enjoy a comfortable and fulfilling life. We make sure that those in our care are treated with dignity, have their needs met and their choices respected at all times.
All parts of our home are brightly furnished and decorated to a high standard. We are able to accommodate 25 residents in 21 private rooms, and two twin bedded rooms.
Badgers Holt is personally supervised by the proprietor Mrs Theresa Rayner, and with more than 25 years experience she knows how important it is to provide a caring and happy environment for our guests.
We are very proud of our team, and with many of our staff having been with us for over 15 years – we really are like a family. That is why we believe we are ideally placed to make you or your loved one part of our family too.

All our staff are fully qualified to fulfil their duties and go about them in a kind and conscientious manner. They are trained to care for the elderly, as well as those who have a mental impairment or are infirm (EMI). We have in depth knowledge and experience of caring for people with dementia and Alzheimer’s. Many of our staff have been with us for over 15 years, which we feel is an illustration of the positive environment at Badgers Holt. Their role is to ensure your happiness and welfare at all times.
On-going training in areas such as First Aid, Health & Safety, Nutrition, Moving & Handling, Medication, and Safeguarding Dementia patients is provided by recognised institutions such as Brockenhurst College. As a result, many of our team hold recognised NVQ 2,3 & 4 qualifications. Happily, we have never once used agency staff, thereby providing a consistent, trusting environment for all of our residents.
We have excellent links with the local health service to provide medical care, and all our rooms are equipped with a 24 hour alarm call.
