Paradise House
Paradise House is a part of Dovehaven Care Homes.
Paradise House is a purpose-built care home over two floors, with a lift servicing both floors. The home has several features that will enhance the living experience of someone living with Dementia. The home is situated at the end of Paradise Lane, which then leads into a quiet woodland and park area.
All rooms at Paradise House are for single occupancy and there are several bath/shower rooms and toilets suitable for the residents needs on both floors. There is a lounge and dining room situated on the ground floor, a conservatory which leads into a secure garden area as well as a quiet lounge which will also be used as an activity centre. The home has a fully equipped hairdressing salon on the ground floor!
SERVICE
All residents are treated as individuals and the staff focus on what they can still do for themselves, and not on what they can no longer do. The home promotes independence, dignity and respect, through positive risk taking and empowerment.
STAFF
Our catering team are on hand every day to ensure that the nutritional requirements of all our residents are met, with all special diets catered for. Our chefs come and meet all our residents to discuss meal choices, likes and dislikes.
Our qualified staff on hand 24 hours a day to provide a high standard of care, they are highly trained and motivated team who specialise in Dementia Care and support staff.
Our philosophy of care states that attention to detail is the difference and all our staff are willing and able to go the extra mile.
