Linden House Nursing Home
At Linden House Nursing Home we aim to provide a home from home atmosphere for our residents. Established for over thirty years, we are a family run, well respected home set in 7 acres of peaceful and secluded parkland.
We believe that everyone has the right to live their lives as they wish to do so, and we strive to facilitate this right.
We aim to create an environment that is informal and homely recognising the emotional effect that giving up ones home may have on many residents and we strive to make the transition to Linden house as easy and emotionally pain free as possible.
We specialise in caring for those who require nursing care who may have medical needs arising from a progressive degenerative disease or from age related illnesses, however we also care for those who elect to come into a caring and welcoming environment because they no longer wish to remain at home. Our environment is such that we can provide care for those in need of little more than reassurance that there is someone available 24 hours a day, to those who need regular nursing input. We can also provide care for residents with dementia or learning disabilities if this is secondary to their need for nursing care.
Rooms
We have thirty single and double bedrooms mostly en-suite, many overlooking our beautiful picturesque grounds. All the rooms are equipped with profiling beds, televisions and telephone points, wifi and sky availability. All furniture is provided but residents are encouraged to bring in their own furniture, pictures and personal belonging to make their room like home.
Catering
Our excellent cook has been at Linden House Nursing Home catering for our residents for nearly thirty years.
We are able to accommodate all diet preferences and palettes. We provide nutritional well balanced meals from a choice of menus available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
For seven years we have been awarded 5 stars by Taunton Deane Environmental Health for our quality our food and our food hygiene. This is the highest star rating that can be achieved.
