Dunster Lodge Residential Home is situated in Minehead, with stunning views of the countryside and Bristol Channel. With 2 drawing rooms, a dining room and a conservatory for the residents to enjoy, our residential care home is perfect for you or a family member.
We offer 18 resident’s rooms, 10 of which are en-suite, allowing for more personal space. We encourage all of our residents to bring their own furniture and possessions to create a more homely feel.
We have our own vegetable and fruit plot we our residents to grow their own plantation.
Margaret Hayes bought Dunster Lodge Residential Home back in April 1998, and has been providing excellent care to many people over the years.
Nestled in the lea of a hill on the edge of Exmoor National Park, this care home allows for lovely walks and views.

Dunster Lodge Residential Home offers a range of different activities throughout the year, designed to help those in care have a great day out. Our activities are available for people of all ages and in nearly all circumstances
From music lessons to coffee mornings, our activity centre is a great place to have fun and meet new people.
You are welcome to come for just a day or as many days in the week as you like. Our activities vary from day to day and programmes change weekly due to seasonality and demand.
Each week we also like to visit local attractions such as North Hill, Dunster & Minehead.
Our music for fun weekly sessions includes: singing, dancing, music quiz, learning to play instruments and also live music events for those of you who just like to listen.
