Our aim is to provide our residents with a safe and homely environment, in which they can maintain their rights, privacy and independence, while promoting their physical and mental wellbeing.
Day Care service
Our friendly day care service offers a safe place for social interaction when your main carer is unavailable.
The purpose built Day Care facility provides a range of services for users who require Social interaction, we offer all meals, activities, and a shower or bath, and these facilities are also enjoyed by all service users for entertainment and activities.
Nurses are on hand to deliver additional support during the day. Helping keep you healthy and provide a balanced diet while you recover from surgery or a debilitating illness. We provide activities in a life enriching environment aimed at stimulating memory as well as physical and emotional wellbeing.
We can provide care for people with physical frailty, dementia or individuals who want to reach out socially.

- Games & quizzes for social interaction
- Film, music and book appreciation clubs
- Arts and crafts
- Light exercise
The activities programme regularly changes to meet the individual needs of our residents
Activities and social interaction
At Ivelhurst there is always something fun to do. Our residents enjoy flex exercises, quizzes, karaoke, bingo, memory sessions, regular visits from local entertainers and musicians are also popular.
We encourage our residents to continue with their existing hobbies and members of staff are always on hand to help out where needed, and there is also plenty of opportunity to try new pastimes.
We encourage residents to be more social and get out of the home on regular visits. This could be a trip to Sidney Gardens or to the local Pub; and in the summer we enjoy trips to the sea side.
