Mount Hermon Dementia Care Home
Mount Hermon Dementia Care Home is a care home specialising in the care of elderly people with dementia. Facing Lancing seafront, the home has 30 rooms that are mostly en-suite and some that have stunning sea views. Each room is unique, decorated and furnished to a high standard, and residents are encouraged to add a homely touch to their rooms. Furthermore, each room is equipped with safety features that include thermostatic radiators, smoke detectors and a 24 hour nurse call system.
We have three large communal rooms which can be used for relaxing or eating; two seafront rooms and a large dining room that overlooks the garden. In the warmer weather, its patio doors can be opened, so that residents can enjoy their tea on the patio seating area.

Care and Nutrition
As part of our service, we provide 3 meals a day for all residents, which are all prepared on-site. Alternatives are offered as we are aware that not everyone will always want the same thing, we also offer snacks in between meals for residents that prefer to eat “on the go”.
At Hestia Care, we recognize the importance of meal times as part of a resident’s lifestyle and nutrition as part of any care package. Therefore, we make a specific effort to incorporate personal preferences and special dietary requirements into each meal.
With suitable notice, we are happy to provide meals for relatives of our residents. We also look for ways to improve our service and welcome feedback on the dining room experience we provide.
