Established in 1972, Netherclay House provides quality residential care and support as well as close care flats to forty-two residents.

Our well-trained, friendly staff provide personalised care and support in a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

Built around 1750, Netherclay House is a delightful Georgian property tastefully extended to offer 35 rooms and 5 close care flats. The house is set in beautiful grounds which border the river Tone and offers views onto the Quantock Hills. Netherclay is located an easy one and a half miles from Taunton town centre.

Pets are welcome.

We have 5 self-contained apartments in the grounds. If you choose to make one of the apartments your home, you get all the advantages of living in a residential home, whilst maintaining your independence.

Netherclay House is conveniently located one and a half miles from Taunton, in Somerset. The house set back a stone’s throw from the river Tone and our walled garden, paddocks and orchard give way to views of the Quantock Hills.

Netherclay House offers personalised residential care and support. Staff are trained and supported to help residents to live in a way that they get the most out of each day, based on their individual needs.

Within Netherclay’s safe, homely environment, we focus on the choices, care, support, well being and comfort of our residents. We welcome guests for long, as well as short stays – for holiday convalescence and respite.
