Sheldon House Care Home
Sheldon House Care Home is a 30 bedded residential care home located in Falmouth, specialising in care of older people with dementia. The home is situated in a central location, close to all local amenities. Sheldon House was established in 1999 and is a large Victorian building set in attractive landscaped gardens.
All bedrooms are spacious and well equipped and have been designed to make sure our residents feel at home in the warm and comfortable settings. Residents are encouraged to bring personal items with them to promote an atmosphere of familiarity.
We understand that choosing the right care home is a big decision and one that should be made with assistance from relatives and loved-ones. We encourage prospective residents and family members to visit to ensure they feel comfortable in our home.
We welcome visitors at all times with or without an appointment. Friends and family can use any part of the home to entertain their relative, the Café area is always a favourite place. If you wish to specifically speak to the manager please just ask.

The accommodation we provide is designed to make our residents feel comfortable in their surroundings. We actively encourage residents to decorate their room with their own belongings to promote a sense of familiarity. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated, some have lovely sea views and views over the garden.
As well as a small private area, the home has 2 large lounges where residents can relax or meet with visitors.
At the rear of the house, there is a decked area with stocked planters where residents can sit or enjoy a spot of gardening.
Our catering staff provide a traditional and varied menu of delicious home-cooked meals. All specific dietary requirements and nutritional needs of residents are catered for.
There is also a laundry on site. We have a full complement of ancillary staff including domestic, maintenance, laundry and kitchen staff.
