Sibbertoft Manor – Care Home with Nursing

Sibbertoft Manor is a residential care home with nursing, located in the picturesque village of Sibbertoft, bordering the counties of Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. Six miles from Market Harborough, a thriving market town, the area is steeped in history and natural beauty. We are registered to provide specialist care for the elderly, the chronically sick, the terminally ill and residents with age related dementia. Our care is unobtrusive and attentive; more akin to a top hotel, than a hospital.

The Manor

Bordered by Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Warwickshire, the county of Northamptonshire is a gentle mix of busy market towns, picturesque villages, Saxon churches and spectacular rural architecture. Here, six miles from Market Harborough, resting between gentle, rolling hills in the heart of some of England’s most beautiful countryside, lies the sleepy village of Sibbertoft.

Steeped in history, Sibbertoft is certainly not a place without interest or beauty.

As you stroll through this friendly village, past the church, it is hard to believe that it got its name from a hoard of invading Vikings (from the tribe of Sibba) who once made it their home.

They say you can tell a lot about a village by its gardens. If this is so, then Sibbertoft is a village much cared-for by its villagers. This tradition of caring is something we take great care to maintain at Sibbertoft Manor.

Built over a hundred years ago and set in four acres of its own landscaped grounds, Sibbertoft Manor has been the home to some of the most eminent families in the region.

Today Sibbertoft Manor is the very private home of forty residents and registered to provide specialist care for the elderly, the chronically sick, the terminally ill and residents with age related dementia.
